The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is… Your happiness is a choice, not dependent on your circumstances.
What advice would you give a member getting ready for their first belt test? Figure out your motivation. Tests are more mentally challenging than physical and you will need to have that reason why you fight in the front of your mind when things get tough. Also, stay hydrated!
Cats or dogs? Dogs.
What’s the most inspiring part of being an instructor? Seeing the side effects of training Krav Maga benefit people off the mats. I truly believe the impact goes far past physical ability, whether that be an increase in confidence, discipline, or just being apart of a community that cares about you.
The most important thing I learned before high school was: how to throw a punch
If I were a superhero, my superpower would be: teleportation because I’m a bad driver and gas isn’t cheap.
When I was 5, I was pretty sure when I grew up I’d be a: Ninja turtle.

Tell us one fact about you that not many know. Before Krav took over my life, I played the flute. My favorite memory from that time was performing with the Detroit Symphony in Orchestra Hall.
